ABOUT

I'm a nomad in the older sense of the word — moving slowly, by intention, with my work and my questions in my backpack. This site is the journal that comes from that movement.

For most of my adult life I've been trying to close the gap between what I see and what I can build. I work as a maker, a musician, a facilitator, and a writer, in roughly that order on most days. The threads of mycology, meditation, and the slow study of how minds change run through everything.

If you're here because we crossed paths somewhere — a hostel, a ceremony, a dinner table, a corner of the internet — hello. The journal entries are the easiest way to keep up. The Now page is the laziest. The Open Loop essays are the longest.
